Dr. Scott Forrest Joins General Proximity's Strategic Advisory Board

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Scott Forrest has joined General Proximity's Strategic Board. Dr. Forrest is currently the Chief Business Officer at Shoreline Therapeutics and brings a wealth of experience in corporate development and financial strategy.
Dr. Forrest is a business and strategy expert, and he served as Chief Financial Officer at Autobahn Therapeutics and Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Inception Therapeutics. At Inception, he played a key leadership role in multiple biotech companies, including Lycia Therapeutics and Chinook Therapeutics. His extensive background also includes co-founding BlackThorn Therapeutics and serving as Vice President of Business Development at The Scripps Research Institute, where he launched over 15 biotech companies and managed significant corporate alliances.
Dr. Forrest began his career at the University of North Carolina, where he led the life sciences licensing team and contributed to the launch of several successful startups. He holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Calgary and a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Virginia.
